What is SketchyGOichie DRAW?

SketchyGOichie’s mission is to nurture creativity, encourage productive screen time, and expose students to career paths in digital arts. By combining professional instruction with industry-standard technology, we empower students of all backgrounds, including those with varied learning abilities, to explore their artistic potential.

DRAW is SketchyGOichie’s signature Digital Art & Rendering Workshop series designed to empower young artists through creativity and technology. Using iPads and pro-level tools, students learn illustration techniques, character design, and storytelling—all while having fun and building confidence!

What to Expect:

All art materials, including the use of iPads with drawing apps and accessories, will be provided (iPads remain with us).
Classes are limited to 15 students to ensure focused attention for everyone. Parents are welcome to stay and join the fun or take a break while their kids create.
Easy-to-follow lessons with supportive instruction and guidance from toy and video game industry professionals.
Parents and guardians will receive a link to download their artist’s work and track their progress after each session.
Participants will have access to our Digital Image Library, offering helpful art resources.
At the conclusion of the 10-week workshop, we will host a “Kids Art Show” event to showcase the students’ artwork. Family and friends can view and purchase the digital masterpieces, with all proceeds going to the artist.
All participants will be welcomed into our SketchyGOichie creative community.

Who are the instructors?

Roger Andrews (Lead Educator): With over 25 years of experience in the art industry, Roger Andrews has worked with top companies like Hasbro, Puma, Toyota, Lucas Licensing, and Disney. He specializes in conceptual illustration and character creation, making him an excellent mentor for your child.

Ashlianna Felix (Teachers Assistant): Ash is a graphic designer and illustrator specializing in merchandise design, promotional graphics, and animated emojis. She has collaborated with brands like Disney, Paramount, and Dreamworks. With a background in early childhood education, she also teaches drawing to school-aged artists.

Pricing:

SketchyGOichie DRAW! Workshops: $30 per individual session, per participant (drop-ins are welcome)
One-on-one Personalized Art Coaching and Mentorships: $150 per hour.
